About the Artist

The work of my paintings is to elevate everyday experiences, bringing beauty and significance to the ordinary.  When painting, I feel a physical and spiritual connection to my subjects and inspire the viewer to connect in a similar way.

Painting since childhood, I am now focusing on my own body of work after 30 years of teaching art to High School and University students. I am a long time figurative and representational painter and use my  knowledge and skills to focus on expression, meaning and essence in a more intuitive abstracted manner.
